Winter was born to a couple of sabretooth tigers. They were apart of IceClan, group of sabretooth tigers that suvived and joined together to try and repopulate the earth with sabretooth tigers. Winter's father was the leader of IceClan, but died from a sickness when Winter was very young. Her mother took over the clan and tried hard to care for Winter and the clan. Once Winter got older, she and her mom had a very strong relationship with each other. When Winter got old enough, her mom let her be the new deputy. She was so exited and loved to fact that she was the Co. Leader of the clan. One day, they were having a clan meeting. Winter and her mother were anouncing that one apprentice was becoming a warrior, and three warriors were ready to become elders. The meeting began to come to an end and Winter and her mom when back to her den to talk. Her mother said that she was getting older and that she might be dieing soon. Winter was devistated. She loved her mother very much and didn't want her to die. That night, all of the elders got together. They planed to kill Winter and her mother because they said they weren't leading right. They went into the leader's den. Winter's shot open as she heard a loud shreek. She got up and looked over to see the elders looking down on her mother's motionless body. Rage shot through her. But it was replaced with pain as one of the elders jumped on her. She was shocked at how well this retired warrior could still fight. She was able to get away and she ran out of the camp. She looked over her shoulder, but none had followed her. She didn't want to take a chance though and she ran out of the territory. For moons she lived under a dead monster and ate crow-food. One day, her heart seeked revendge. She ran back into the territory and bust though the camp enterance. She looked around as all the tigers stared at her. And then she spotted the elders, wide eyed and jaws dropped. Winter dashed tward them. They scatered but she cought the fur of one of them. She ripped her claws across it's neck and it when limp with in seconds. She kill four more and only one remained. The one who killed her mother. She looked around for him, but he wasn't there. She looked in the elder's den and then she got the feeling to look in the leaders den. And sure enough when she looked inside, there he was. Winter hissed at him and then jumped. He slid out of the way but Winter raked her claws down his back as he jumped. He yowled with pain and she jumped on his back. She bit down on his neck and held. He almost though her off a couple of times but she didn't let go until it was over. She stood up and looked down at his body. She spat and then dragged it out. She again took over the clan. Winter tried to get the repopulation started again but hadn't even had one kit before all of them but Winter were captured and killed for their pelts. She left the area and travel far away. She eventually found ShadowClan and joined as a warrior. Although she was a good hunter and fighter, she still had the heart of a leader. She tried to tell everyone what to do and wouldn't listen to the leader or deputy and was soon exiled. Winter hadn't gone far before she ran into a band of large cats right outside the clans, looking for a leader. She soon joined and then took over the gang and they now call themselves WinterClan. But she isn't the best leader you've ever seen. She has hard rules, she won't except anyone not ready to fight right on the spot unless they are kits, and if someone didn't do what she said, she would take it out on the elders. If someone refuesed her order, she would send someone to kill them and one of the elders. Some of the cats have tried to get together to stop her but they have all failed. The rest of them obey her because she has a policy they like: "Obey me, and you will be protected. Refuse and you will be killed. By me, or by what ever is out there." Although she has never followed the warrior code, she has been granted nine lives from SabreClan, the place where evil sabretooth tigers that have died go. They are evil but have equal powers to StarClan. Winter will take her warriors into battle just to see blood shed, and she knows that she will not go down without a fight.
